“I dip my pen in the
blackest ink,
because I am not afraid
of falling into my inkpot.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
Welcome!
I’m Megan Pincus Kajitani. Experienced writer and editor.
(With a dash of career coach, a splash of teacher/trainer
and a few drops of academic.)
These days,
I write and edit in a variety of arenas, and love the idea
of “having enough” -- redefining success for a healthier
world.
My
non-fiction writing includes career columns in The Chronicle
of Higher Education, features in Gazette Newspapers and
essays in books, including Sunshine/Noir and Mama, Ph.D.
I blog at
Having Enough (In a “Have-It-All”
World). I pen a monthly column, “Being
Enough,” in the Writer Mama zine. And I offer career advice
each Monday on Inside Higher Ed’s “Mama, PhD” blog.
I also do
copywriting (including ghost writing for executives) and
book editing (such as freelance story-editing for Miriam
Peskowitz on the best-selling Daring Book for Girls).
My
dozen-plus years of professional communication experience
includes work in journalism, publishing and academia (and
a Master’s in Communication Arts).
